Meet Dr. Khurana

For over 20 years, Dr. Sanjeev Khurana, M.D. has specialized in treating children and teens suffering from diseases of the stomach, gall bladder, liver and intestine.

Sanjeev Khurana , M.D., is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and specializes in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and Nutrition.

After graduating from the India he completed his residency at Maimonedes Medical Center in New York. He then completed pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York and Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island. Mount Sinai School of Medicine is one of the few centers in United States specialized in pediatric liver and bowel transplant.

Dr Khurana has treated many patients with short gut syndrome, hepatitis, ulcerative colitis, crohns disease, Eosinophilic Esophagitis, Failure to thrive and many other complex Pediatric GI diseases. He has also provided extensive care to pediatric patients following their bowel and liver transplants. Dr Khurana has also published a paper about basic research related to Cystic Fibrosis.

Dr Khurana is a fellow of American Academy of Pediatrics and member of North American Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. Dr Khurana is a staff on Phoenix Childrens Hospital, Banner Childrens Hospital, Banner Thunderbird Hospital and John C. Lincoln Hospitals.
